I am called to walk beside women as life grows within themselves, as they labor in birthing that life from themselves and the healing restoration of their whole self, all in the Presence of God.
Emotionally supported. Spiritually grounded. Fully respected.
As a Trauma-Responsive Partum Doula, Childbirth Educator, PMH Peer Mentor and Spiritual Director, my work is shaped by Scripture, lived experience, embodied wisdom, and a deep reverence for the sacredness of birth. I hold space for mothers who are carrying both new life and old pain, creating a gentle, grounded environment where healing and hope can coexist.
Many of the women I serve have experienced medical trauma, birth trauma, or seasons of feeling spiritually disconnected. My heart is to remind you that you are not alone, you are not "too much," and your needs are not an inconvenience. Your birth story will be honored and you deserve to feel confident in your decisions.
In our work together, you can expect:
-
Trauma-Informed
Emotional Safety
From the first prenatal session through postpartum recovery, I offer support that honors your emotional well-being, mental health, and spiritual needs. Upon request, I offer prayer, scriptural encouragement, and calming spiritual reflection, grounding you when triggers surface and building the trusting bond your birth experience and recovery deserves.
-
Hands-On
Physical Comfort
Hands-on comfort measures like massage, counter-pressure, and intentional positioning to help manage pain and support labor progression, all while maintaining respectful collaboration with your medical team and creating birth and recovery environments that reduce fear and anxiety and keep your heart, body and spirit calm.
-
Evidence-Based
Informed Decision-Making
As a compassionate knowledgeable resource, I bridge the gap between clinical requirements and personal support, helping you develop personalized pregnancy, birth and postpartum plans, understand medical procedures, and connect with specialized support so every decision belongs to you.
-
Voice-Centered
Birth Advocacy
By ensuring that your preferences are communicated and respected by your medical team, your voice is kept, your boundaries respected, and your birth plan remains at the center of every conversation, especially when labor gets intense.
